»¨¶¼Ó°ÊÓ is once again participating in the USDA Summer Food Service Program, offering free, nutritious meals to children during summer break. From June through mid-August 2025, meals will be served at more than 30 locations across the city. We are also keeping open 15 school-based food pantries.

All children ages 18 and younger are eligible to receive meals at no cost. »¨¶¼Ó°ÊÓ has proudly provided free summer meals for more than 40 years.

There are no eligibility requirements, and participation is not affected by race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. Discrimination of any kind is not permitted.

Meal service is available Monday through Friday at all sites unless otherwise noted. Lunch is served from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Most locations will be closed on June 19 in observance of Juneteenth and on July 4 for Independence Day.

Meals must be eaten on-site and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

To be eligible to receive free meals at a residential or non-residential camp, children must meet the income guidelines for reduced-price meals in the National School Lunch Program. The income guidelines for reduced-price meals by family size are listed on the next page. Children who are part of households that receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly food stamps) benefits or benefits under the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), or Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) are automatically eligible to receive free meals.
